Volunteering

At Temple Ami Shalom, we are proud of the work our congregation does to help our community and synagogue. Because our practice celebrates loving acts of kindness, we greatly value your volunteering as a way to deepen the connection to Torah. Whether through attending services, giving a Drash, or providing a meal, there are always opportunities for you to connect to and become more involved with our community.

Make a Donation

Donations keep this community financially stable, as we continue to grow and perform acts of loving kindness. We would like to extend our gratitude to you for considering a donation to Temple Ami Shalom. Your charity, sustains this community and our place in West Covina. If your tribute is in dedication or memory of someone, call the office at (626) 331-0515. We are all grateful for your generosity and for all contributions to Temple Ami Shalom.

Ways to Give Financially:

Through Visa or Mastercard Credit Cards

Through Writing a Check

Through Visiting our Gift Shop

Help Serve

Feeding our community is central to our practice and a valued aspect of our services. Even if you are not confident in your cooking skills, there are others ways to help in the kitchen to prepare meals.

Do a Drash

Doing a Drash (interpretation) demonstrates how dynamic understanding the Torah can be, revealing how much more there is to learn. Let is know if you’re interested in giving your drash.

Other Volunteering

Join us behind the scenes, preparing events, kitchen clean up, restoration projects, field trips, supporting other community members, and maintaining our facilities. There are always ways to lend yourself in support. We’ll let you know how you can help.

Sponsor Oneg & Kiddush

We offer the chance to sponsor an Oneg or Kiddush Lunch in honor of a special occasion or in memory of a loved one. These meals are greatly appreciated and provide an additional way to connect to our congregation.
